Ideas for your Summer Bucket List

What do you do on a rainy day???

The kids and I were stuck in the house all day yesterday. With each other.
It could have been the best day ever, or something resembling the Hunger Games.

It turned out great!

Last summer I was still working, and the kids were in camp every day. I hated every second of it, to be honest. My heart longed to be at home with the kids. Luckily, I  left  was able to stop before school started.

(but that's another blog post..whoo...deep breaths...okay, I'm good)
This year I have decided we will do summer BIG. We have 10 weeks until school starts. Here's some of  our "Summer Bucket List" that we came up with:

*Grease sing-a-long at the Memphis Orpheum
*camping (in summer. blech! But it's on the list!)
*fly kites
*make our own ice cream!
*find new popsicle flavors
*ride camels at the zoo
*go fishing
*swim almost every day
* nap in the hammock
*see Graceland
*catch fireflie
*take a road trip!

 Blogging makes me wanna....Jump! Jump!

(Yes, I just totally dated  myself....oh well!!)

I just signed up NaBloPoMo over at BlogHer. NaBloPoMo stands for National Blog Posting Month. The idea is to post everyday for a whole month. Since that was my June Resolution, I thought I'd bite the bullet and sign up. Here goes nothin'!

  1. Coming right back to ya from Houseful of Nicholes! I couldn't stop reading, and I got a little jealous about your NOLA post. We were there in 2010 when I was pregnant with my twins. I want to go back! Looking forward to blogging away this month with you!

  2. Sounds like you have a great summer planned with the kids. Do it all! I miss those days.

Good Gollie! Thanks for Commenting!
