What do you do on a rainy day???
The kids and I were stuck in the house all day yesterday. With each other.
It could have been the best day ever, or something resembling the Hunger Games.
It turned out great!
Last summer I was still working, and the kids were in camp every day. I hated every second of it, to be honest. My heart longed to be at home with the kids. Luckily, I
left was able to stop before school started.
(but that's another blog post..whoo...deep breaths...okay, I'm good)
This year I have decided we will do summer BIG. We have 10 weeks until school starts. Here's some of our "Summer Bucket List" that we came up with:
*Grease sing-a-long at the Memphis Orpheum
*camping (in summer. blech! But it's on the list!)
*make our own ice cream!
*find new popsicle flavors
*ride camels at the zoo
*swim almost every day
* nap in the hammock
*take a road trip!
